Chundanga Kondattam is salted and sun-dried Chundakkai, which when fried in oil, turns crispy and goes well with hot steaming rice. Chundanga, Chundakkai, Sundakkai, or Turkey Berries are small bead-shaped fruit with a green texture, traditionally used for making several recipes that are served as side dishes for rice. These plants are normally seen in hilly areas and have a slightly bitter flavor when compared to other berries.
